Start-Up Village Entrepreneurship Programe (SGEP)

  SVEP focuses on promoting start-up entrepreneurship at the village level by involving rural poor households, by providing assured availability of need based financial support, capacity building measures and by advisory services for establishment of village enterprises.  The programme aims to create a complete ambience of enterprise eco-system for accelerating village enterprises to enhance their viability, marketing linkages and credit worthiness.  This would be built on local skill, knowledge, intelligence and guided by high quality business management.  Pilot interventions have been made through block saturation approach in two identified blocks of separate districts (Mrada from Mayurbhanj and Ranpur from Nayagarh).  ORMAS is facilitating the process of implementation of this programme through EDII, the national resource organisation
